I created these experimental prints with masking tape as part of my New York project last year for my AS exam. The theme of the project was to photograph contrasts and I decided to explore this subject matter whilst on a trip to New York. In this case, the more negative contrasts of New york in rough areas like the ghetto and whilst editing I turned the images black and white to emphasise the negative aspect even more. Then by printing on masking tape created a more monochrome effect to the image.
